तरुणांचे प्रश्र्न

भारताची लोकसंख्या 1 अब्ज 40 कोटी आहे. त्यापैकी जवळजवळ 44 कोटी तरूणतरूणी 24 ते 30 या वयोगटातील आहेत. त्यांना भेडसावणारे प्रश्र्न थोड्याफार फरकाने एकच आहेत. पुढे येणारी जबाबदारी पेलण्याची आर्थिक क्षमता हा एक महत्वाचा प्रश्र्न त्यांचेपुढे आहे. अगदी अलिकडचे एक उदाहरण घेऊया. रेल्वेमध्ये 63000 जागा भरावयाच्या होत्या. जाहिरात दिल्यावर 20 लाख अर्ज आले. त्यामध्ये पुष्कळ शिक्षण झालेले पण भरपूर उमेदवार होते. थोडक्यात, बेकार असलेला तरूण गट मोठ्ठा आहे.
हे असे का झाले? शिक्षण हे या अवस्थेचे प्रमूख कारण म्हणता येईल. सध्याचे शिक्षण म्हणजे घोकंपट्टी व त्यावर आधारीत मार्कस् अशा पध्दतीचे असल्याने मुलांच्या मेंदूला चालना मिळून विचारक्षमता वाढणे असे होतच नाही. तरुणांनाही वाचत असलेल्या शब्दांचा व वाक्यांचा अर्थ कळतोच असे नाही. तंत्रज्ञानाने निर्माण केलेले मोबाईल्स, इंटरनेट किंवा विकसित होणारी कृत्रिम बुध्दीमत्ता यामुळे जीवनाची गती एवढी वाढली आहे की त्याला सामोरे जाण्याइतकी कुवत तरूण वर्गात नसते. नैराश्य, आत्महत्या, खून, बलात्कार हे या गोंधळलेल्या व रोगट मानसिक स्थितीमुळे वाढलेले दिसतात. अनौपचारीक शिक्षण हा आमच्या संस्थेने चालू केलेला उपक्रम यासाठीच आहे. ज्याच्यात्याच्या बौध्दिक क्षमतेप्रमाणे व्यावहारीक ज्ञानाची माहिती करून देणे हा त्याचा मुख्य उद्देश आहे. हा उपक्रम यशस्वी होण्यासाठी आपणा सर्वांनाच आपल्या शरीराची क्षमता व मनाबद्दल माहिती असणे जरूरीचे आहे. त्याचा विचार पुढील सत्रात करुया.

Problem of Youths

Population of India is 1 billion 40 crores. Amongst that around 40 crores are in the age group of 24 to 30. With little variations the problems facing them are similar. To settle in life independently with financial stability is a big question mark before them. To cite an example, To fill up vacancies of 63000 posts, railways received 20 lacs applications! This shows the magnitude of unemployment.
why does it happen? Education appears to be the root cause of it. Rote learning method of education and undue importance to marks is examination have put a stumbling block in developing thinking capacity. Even graduate youths are unable to understand the contextual meaning of the words and sentences. Technology has offered mobile, internet and artificial intelligence. This has put life in spinning motion. Young generation is in confused state. Depression, suicide, incidences of rape are on rise indicating mental aberrations at this productive age. ARH has started non-formal education to address this issue. To guide them on operationally effective knowledge as per their needs and capacities is main purpose of this activity. One needs to understand our capacities as human being physically and psychologically . We will begin discussion on this subject in next session
